When I install the client program, what’s the meaning of selecting the partition to install the temp folder?

When you do software or file distribution, the module information will be saved in that temp folder, if the module size is larger than the free space of partition of the temp folder located, the distribution operation won’t be successful. So we suggest you install that temp folder in a partition with enough free space.

When run the server program, I find I can control only 5 clients.

In that case, the server program runs as the Demo version. Be sure that you have insert the USB lock into the computer, and then check that whether the USB lock has been plugged in the correct direction or whether it becomes flexible. Or try another empty USB interface in case of this USB interface is bad. After that, run the server program again, it will enter into the operation interface directly without the prompt of Demo version.

After I install the client program, I can not detect any client information on server. What’s the problem?

First of all, please check the network has no problem. If you are sure that the network is working normally, it must be the problem of client installation. You can check the client status on client PC. Do as follows: click [start-run]. Input ‘regedit’ to enter the registry editor. Find [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\PCManager\Maestro] key.

If you found the CardStatus shows ‘Bad’, it indicates that the client program works abnormally. You should check the client program installation even reinstall it to assure client can work normally in order to connect with server. If the CardStatus shows ‘Good’, client program is running normally.

The Work Mode and Buffer information of client show as ‘Unknown’, what is the problem.

First of all, make sure the Lanseal ResQ Deluxe Card has been installed in the client PC. Check if it is plugged firmly, or the PCI slot is not broken. Be show the Lanseal ResQ Deluxe can work normally in the client PC.

After a client login, I find its maximum buffer is less than 5G.

When the free space of partition the buffer located in is smaller than 5G, the buffer surely can not achieve 5G. We suggest you use the Disk Defragmenter to clear up the data in your harddisk in order to set enough space for buffer using.

Distribute the S/W to clients, but the transfer speed is too slow. And sometime the clients will be offline at the middle of distribution.

When you meet the Network traffic, the speed of distribution will be slowed down a lot. You can cancel the distribution and distribute it again when the network is smooth. It is possible that the network is not stable to cause the clients offline. Select [Config – Network – Distribution], set the Package Size as 4096, the smaller the package is, the more stable distribution is.
