Why I can not realize Sound Broadcasting and Video Talkback even when I correctly installed sound card and microphone?

First, make sure that you have installed the driver of sound card. Then check that whether you have selected microphone on video input equipment of volume control program. If all of these are finished, you can begin to broadcast. Video talkback and student speaking need the support of full duplex sound card. You can check it as the following steps: 1. Broadcast .wav files with Windows Media Player. 2. Open Sound Recorder tool during broadcasting. 3. If it can record, it must be full duplex sound card. Or it is single duplex sound card.

Why some student can not hear the sound when broadcast courseware which has sound files in it?

First, make sure that teacher PC has installed full duplex sound card. All the student PCs have installed sound cards. And all the sound cards work well. Then open teacher program and select record equipment in record settings. Third, select Stereo Mixer or similar option. After these steps you can broadcast courseware with sound files.

How to broadcast the courseware which has video files in it?

If the instructor PC's OS is Win 9.x, it's configure must above Celeron 433. Then you should do some settings as follows: Open System Settings-Screen 2. Select the option of "Forbid DCI/DirectDraw to use video accelerate function."
If the teacher PC's OS is above Win 2000, it can broadcast courseware with video files directly.

Why teacher can hear himself when video talkback?

There are two possibilities. First, it is because shield ability of local sound card is poor. You can lower the record volume ?to improve the effect. Second, it may be induced by the sound card settings of student PC. It may selects to broadcast circularly. The sound has transmitted to record port and feedbacks to teacher PC by network.

Why student PC can not connect to teacher PC?
Please check that whether the channels of teacher PC and student PC are the same. Then use Ping command to check that if the two computers are connected. If it is not connected, check or reinstall TCP/IP protocol. If teacher PC has two NIC, please select the NIC which has the same part of network with student PC. You can select in System Settings-Network-Local Address.

Why student PC always? be offline after logging on?

It is induced by the abnormity of network. Please check network by some softwares such as: sniffer. You'd better change NIC or Hub to check switching exchange and confirm the trouble.

Color of student screen is anamorphic when broadcasting.

It always occurs on Win 95. It is because that Win 95 OS does not have the function of switching color count dynamicly. So color is easily anamorphic when less color count displays more color count. Please reset the color count of appearance settings and restart.

Student PC can not receive video files of video teaching.

Make sure to install the video play packet: Klcodec18f.exe on both student PC and teacher PC.

Student PC can receive network cinema, but the color is not correct.
Please broadcast in window form. If the color is correct, it means that VGA on student PC has poor compatibility with DirectX full screen mode. Please low display mode, change VGA driver on student PC or close Graphic Accelerate Option of student PC and try again.

It appears short halt after student PC receives network cinema.

It is induced by the uncorrect clock of sound card. You’d better change sound card to try again.

After remote restarting or remote power off, it will display Active Desktop mistake when power on.

The remote restarting/power off uses different power off system with local PC. It is a forcible action and Active Desktop can not deal with it. You can open Folder Option and set Windows desktop update to be traditional style or do not select forcely shut down when remote restarting/power off.

Why student PC can not connect to teacher PC after the server dial-up to internet?
It is because that NIC address of teacher PC is not correct. You can reset the network address.

Why I can not realize remote power on?

The main board of student PC must support remote awake. If it supports, you can modify CMOS settings. Enter Power Supply Management and set Wake On Lan to be ENABLE.
